Material World: Depot 3 Vic Road

Final weekend! Artist Chris Melville is a visual trickster. His body of photographic works – some of which echo Devonport and the convergence of sea and sky – has been created by capturing images of layers of everyday fabrics. What appear at first glance to be mountains, tidal currents or mist drifting across water are, in fact, studies of material in motion. Read the story in the 24 April Flagstaff.

Integration: Depot Lounge
