Te Reo O Te Taiao at Satellite2

Te Reo O Te Taiao | The Voice of the Natural World is a group exhibition by four local Māori artists. They have combined creative forces to highlight the power, beauty and vulnerability of the environment, with the goal of inspiring the community to act as kaitiaki. The Boundary of the Intelligible at DEPOT Artspace

In a new exploration of colour for artist Jennifer Mason, this exhibition offers a space for reflection and tranquillity, celebrating light, space and peaceful contemplation.

The Stacey & Steve Show at DEPOT Lounge

Final weekend! The work of two friends on the same creative wavelength, using the same tools and techniques and with the same obsession with printmaking. Lisa Watkins at the Rose Centre Art Spot

Sustainability artist Lisa Watkins turns discarded materials into bold sculptural works. Her art explores eco-feminism, resilience and consumer culture.

Hits of the Crooners at The Stone Oven Cafe

Dinner, drinks, music. An evening celebrating timeless classics in a tribute to the songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole & Michael Bublé. Concert, welcoming bubbles and set menu all included. More information and tickets here.

Finding Nemo JR. at The Rose Centre

On at The Vic This Weekend

Potluck. A revolving cast from The Mischief Company presents a second season of live improvised comedy. A show in which three couples share a potluck dinner and no one  — including the actors — knows what scandals will be revealed. See the 6 June Flagstaff for more information. Tickets here.

Fatal Watch. Four marine observers vanish at sea under suspicious circumstances. This gripping investigation uncovers why, revealing the dark underbelly of the global tuna trade. Tickets here.

Jaws — 50th anniversary re-release. Fifty years ago, terror swam onto the silver screen in the shape of Jaws, Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking thriller. Friday Night Live at Harmony Hall

Māori Language Games and Info at Devonport Library

10am: Te Wananga o Aotearoa hosts an information session on language courses for 2026. They are also available all morning for one-one chats about their classes.

Devonport Navy Museum 

Visit the Torpedo Bay Navy Museum for a look into New Zealand’s naval history. The Tides of Change exhibition, part of the 2025 Auckland Festival of Photography, is displayed in the atrium. Instrumental to Defence, the history of the Royal New Zealand Navy Band, is on display in the Foyer Gallery.

Devonport Museum

The museum has many fascinating displays showing local natural, geological and human history, along with memorabilia relating to schools, transport, early settlers and families, and a collection of historical photographs.

North Shore United AFC

North Shore, currently seventh in the league table, have an away game up the road against ninth-placed Takapuna on Saturday. Last weekend, Shore suffered a 2-0 home loss to Onehunga Mangere.

Tangihanga at The Rose Centre

Tangihanga, performed by Kristyl Neho, follows a devoted daughter navigating her father’s death and family dynamics, as whanau and friends gather at a marae to mourn. Neho embodies 32 characters in this drama-comedy, which explores the intricacies of whanau relationships, identity, cultural traditions and the importance of family and community in times of loss.
