Celtic Guitar Journey Live show at the Vic 

Award-winning Irish-Kiwi guitarist/composer Dave Flynn returns to New Zealand with an expansion of his acclaimed show, which combines ancient traditions, contemporary sounds and virtuoso guitar playing. See the February 14 Flagstaff story on Flynn here. Tickets here.

The Last Journey (M) – Advance screenings 

A documentary that explores a son’s attempts to coax his aging father into re-engaging with life by embarking on a road trip through the South of France. In Swedish and French with English subtitles. Tickets and times here.

Unseen World at Satellite2 Gallery

Studio D3: Momentum at the Depot Artspace

Beyond the Surface at the Depot Artspace

Kate Serebrianskaia uses layers of acrylic inks and unprimed canvases to evoke connections to the depicted moment.

Mei Ling Lee: Personal Archive M59 at the Depot Artspace

Mei Ling Lee’s work is an act of preservation, adding layers of depth to found objects and offering clues for viewers to piece together fragments of a life story. A drawing workshop with Mei Ling Lee is on this Saturday from 10am-12. Register here.
