Devonport Community Creche Fundraiser at The Stone Oven

A Posse of Poets at Devonport Library

Celebrate National Poetry Day with A Posse of Poets. Special guests, including C K Stead, who will read from his latest collection. Wine and nibbles included. Koha appreciated. All welcome.

Community Drumming Workshop at Whare Toi

Scam Awareness: Presentation at the RSA

Avoid Being Scammed! The Devonport RSA Youth Volunteers (Navy recruits and Takapuna Grammar students) invite you to attend an interactive presentation on scamming and learn what to look out for. Morning tea will be provided.

Hundreds of quality toys to try out or borrow, for kids aged up to six years old.

Volcanic Vinyl Pop-Up Record Store

New and used LPs for sale across most genres including funk, soul, punk, blues, rock, electronica, metal, reggae and hip hop, all in the convivial surroundings of Tiny Triumphs.

Devonport Navy Museum 

Visit the Torpedo Bay Navy Museum for a look into New Zealand’s naval history. The Tides of Change exhibition, part of the 2025 Auckland Festival of Photography, is displayed in the atrium. Instrumental to Defence, the history of the Royal New Zealand Navy Band, is on display in the Foyer Gallery.

Devonport Museum

The museum has many fascinating displays showing local natural, geological and human history, along with memorabilia relating to schools, transport, early settlers and families, and a collection of historical photographs.

NZ Mountain Film Festival at The Rose Centre

This year’s NZ Mountain Film Festival is a high-octane journey through the world’s most extreme environments. These powerful stories capture the spirit of adventure and nature’s raw beauty.

The Mischief Company is back for season 2 of Potluck, a live improvised-comedy show in which three couples share a potluck dinner and no one  — including the actors — knows what scandals will be revealed. The Vic: A Love Story is a short film that charts the fascinating history of the Victoria Theatre, the oldest purpose-built cinema in the Southern Hemisphere. Select film screenings are part of the fundraising campaign to raise money for new seats for the cinema. Tickets here.

Takarunga: A Natural History at DEPOT 3 Vic Road

Takarunga: A Natural History presents a series of paintings by artist Tate Agnew that delve into the ecological and social history of the maunga, revealing its rich history and ecological significance. The Stacey & Steve Show at DEPOT Lounge

North Shore United AFC

North Shore, currently seventh in the league table, have a home game against eighth-placed Onehunga Mangere United on Saturday. Last weekend, Shore suffered a 4-0 away loss to Mt Albert Ponsonby.
