Colour Dash 2026
Colour, energy and community spirit! Whether you run, walk, skip or dance your way through the vibrant colour zones, this fun-filled event is designed for all ages and abilities. After completing the course, the celebration continues at the Colour Carnival, which includes music, dancing, family-friendly zones and food trucks. More information here.

Quiz Night at Devonport Community House

Genealogy Workshop at the Navy Museum

Noughty Wasters Free Makerspace sessions
Play and create with discarded items otherwise destined for landfill. Construct and de-construct using a variety of tools and art supplies. Visit the Torpedo Bay Navy Museum for a look into New Zealand’s naval history. View albums from the museum’s extensive photographic collections from World War I onwards, as part of the What a Life exhibition on display in the Foyer Gallery.

Special Screening: No Tears on the Field
- Q&A screening with director Lisa Burd and player Atalya Fakavamoeanga, moderated by Suzanne McFadden. No Tears on the Field follows a season of women’s grass-roots rugby. - Hoppers. Scientists have discovered how to ‘hop’ human consciousness into life-like robotic animals. Live performance of (Il)legible inkscription at Depot Artspace
Joanna Cook and Steve Lovett’s exhibition, (il)legible inkscription, explores language as a palimpsest on bodies, transforming text across mobile, malleable surfaces – merging print and choreography. Bag Full of Tricks: Workshop with Robyn Gibson

Holly Sanford at Satellite2
Artist Holly Sanford is exploring a new creative path in her exhibition Revealed: Beyond the Glass Horizon. Eva at the Rose Centre Art Spot
Each month, the Rose Centre Art Spot highlights the work of a different local artist. During March, former Takapuna Grammar student Eva exhibits her still-life paintings of flowers, using gouache paint and pencil to explore colour, texture and detail.

Shore to Shore Fun Run & Walk
This fundraising event for local schools is a great day out running or walking along our local shorelines. The course starts at Takapuna Grammar School, taking in Takapuna and Milford beaches, and finishing at Milford Reserve. Costumes and spot prizes are part of the fun. Bus transport to and from the finish area is available.
