Rugby: North Shore Rugby Club home final
A big crowd is expected when table-topping Shore meets old foes Takapuna in a rematch of last year’s final at home this Saturday. A win would give Shore their second North Harbour title in a row and ninth in their history.

Torpedo Bay Navy Museum’s new exhibition
Visit the Navy Museum at Torpedo Bay to see its latest exhibition, Over Seas – Mā te Moana, a collection of objects brought home by RNZN sailors during overseas deployments all around the world. Check out the Cambodian Uniform Patch (pictured below) collected by Chief Petty Officer Keith Marsh when he was deployed on peacekeeping operations as part of UNTAC (United Nations Transitional Authority Cambodia). From 1991 to 2005 New Zealand provided over 100 personnel to the effort. New Zealand Defence Force experts, including the first New Zealand women to join a UN peacekeeping mission, helped create the Mine Clearance Training Unit who worked on clearing landmines and other unexploded munitions in Cambodia.
