When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am–2pm.

Common Matter: Depot Artspace

Artist Amanda Mackenzie presents a study of the humble egg tray — made for function from waste, endlessly recycled, the epitome of sustainability. Community contributions (of around 3500 egg trays) form the foundation of structures that are stacked, clustered and reconfigured. Read the story in the 10 April Flagstaff.

Inkpressions: Depot Lounge

Inkpressions, an exhibition by Argentina-born artist Ana Ferrari, grew from a place of play, experimentation and improvisation with relief printing. The works explore texture, colour and organic form through curiosity and the simple joy of making.

Where: 28 Clarence St.

Verity Kindleysides at Depot 3 Vic Road

Verity Kindleysides’ exhibition, Inside the Garden & Beyond (after Pat Hanly),  explores the three-maunga Devonport peninsula, linked by jewel-like gardens. It’s a reinterpretation and homage to Pat Hanly’s early-1970s Inside the Garden series.

Katie Robinson at The Rose Centre Art Spot
