Fair on The Hill
Enjoy carnival rides, games, food and drinks, an auction, face painting and musical performances at Devonport Primary School’s fair this Saturday.

Devonport Primary School’s second-hand designer clothing sale is on at the school hall tonight. $5 entry, includes refreshments.

Torpedo Bay Navy Museum
Visit the Torpedo Bay Navy Museum for a look into New Zealand’s naval history.

Devonport Museum
The museum has many fascinating displays showing local natural, geological and human history, along with memorabilia relating to schools, transport, early settlers and families, and a collection of historical photographs.

Music & Entertainment
Depot Fundraiser Gig
One of Auckland’s best rock bands, Racing, headlines a gig to raise funds for the repair of the Depot’s music studio, which was flooded last year. Featuring former members of The Checks – Ed Knowles and Sven Pettersen – alongside Daniel Barrett and Izaak Houston, the band blends psych-drenched groove and raw rock energy. Tickets here.

The Kestrel – Second Birthday
The Devonport Wharf gastropub celebrates its second birthday with live music tonight and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Kids face painting from 2pm on Saturday.

North Shore Cricket Club
The club’s premier women’s side take on Parnell in the semi-final of the one-day Pritchard Cup competition after a dominant victory over Takapuna last weekend. They’re looking to earn a spot in the final in their first season.

The men’s premiers take on Parnell on the second day of a two-day match at Devonport Domain. Shore will start on 5/53 in their second innings after scoring only 79 in the first. Parnell scored 242 for 8 declared on the first day.
