Hunt for the Wilderpeople: 10th Anniversary Screening

Two rebels. One million hectares of untamed wilderness. The hunt is on. Based on the book Wild Pork and Watercress (by Barry Crump), The Vic’s best-attended movie in the last 10 years is a story about a defiant city kid who finds himself on the run in the bush with his cantankerous foster uncle.

When: Saturday, 3.45pm. Tickets here.

The Vic: A Love Story

A short film that charts the fascinating history of the Victoria Theatre — the oldest purpose-built cinema in the Southern Hemisphere. Select film screenings are part of the fundraising campaign to raise money for new seats for the cinema.

When: Sunday, 10.45am. Tickets here.

Where: The Victoria Theatre (The Vic), 48 Victoria Rd.
