PHOTO GALLERY: Huge turnout to Vauxhall art show

Flagstaff Team

More than 5000 people attended the Vauxhall School Exhibition of Fine Art (VEFA) last weekend.

The gala opening, the exhibition, and family day were all well attended and around $350,000 worth of art was sold.

Thirty workshops were run over the weekend including tutorials by artists Component and Michel Tuffery.

Laura Taylor, VEFA convenor says, “We are thrilled for the artists and also for the school”, which takes a commission on every piece of art sold.

The new Family Festival Day on
Sunday was a hit, attracting hundreds of families, and ensuring the sales desk was kept busy right up until closing at 3pm Sunday.

See some of the works that were on display in our previous article.
