Thousands attend the Navy Open Day in Devonport

Thousands attended the Navy Open Day in Devonport, with long queues to board HMNZS Te Mana. The naval base was open to the public, as was the Torpedo Bay Navy Museum.
The Devonport Business Association got behind the event, with a market day in town and a maritime shop-window display competition, which was won by the Devonport Hospice Shop.
